On August 21, 2004, the Wood Dale C.E.R.T. team participated in the Dupage County Exercise. This county-wide exercise brought together a large number of Emergency Services, C.E.R.T. Teams, and other emergency personnel with the goal of fostering cooperation. The exercise consisted of four separate units. They were:

• Triage/Medical Treatment
• Building Inspection
• Searching a building, and
• Search and Rescue from a building
